Delete your The Stretch App account
You don’t need an account to use The Stretch App. If you created one (with email, Google or Apple) to back up your streak and routines, you can delete it and its data at any time, with or without the app.
Delete it in the app
- Open The Stretch App and sign in, if you aren’t already.
- Go to Settings and, under Account, tap Delete Account.
- Tap Delete to confirm. If you last signed in more than a few minutes ago, the app asks you to sign in again first. The account, its cloud backup and the same data on that device are then deleted straight away.
Delete it without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, email support@indimakes.com from the email address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my The Stretch App account”. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, tell us the relay address shown in your Apple Account settings. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We delete the account and its data within 30 days and reply to let you know.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, name (if your sign-in provider supplied one), user ID and sign-in method.
- Your cloud backup: finished sessions, streak history, custom routines (including their names) and plan settings.
- On the device you delete from: the same sessions, routines and history.
What is kept
- Subscription records: purchases are held by Apple or Google and by our subscription management service under an anonymous ID, for as long as needed to provide the subscription and meet accounting and legal obligations. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or in your Apple Account.
- Analytics and crash data: held by Google in pseudonymous form, not linked to your account, and deleted under Google’s Firebase retention settings (up to 14 months for analytics, 90 days for crash reports).
- Sessions you saved to Apple Health or Health Connect: these are on your device, under your control, and are not removed by deleting your account. Delete them in the Health app or in Health Connect.
- Support emails about your request: kept until it is resolved, and deleted within 24 months.
Delete some data and keep the account
To remove only your cloud backup and keep the account, email support@indimakes.com with the subject “Delete my The Stretch App backup”. Logging out of the app removes your sessions and routines from that device without touching the backup.
